How long can a leash be in a Mesa park?
Mesa's park rules require a manual leash no longer than six feet, held under your physical control, including while you walk into or out of a dog park.
Where is the county animal shelter for Mesa?
Maricopa County Animal Care and Control runs its East Valley Animal Care Center at 1920 South Lewis in Mesa. The county also licenses Mesa's dogs.
Does every Mesa dog need a license?
Yes. Maricopa County requires every dog over three months old to be licensed and vaccinated against rabies, and a current rabies certificate is needed to apply or renew.
